Downloads
Add a video to the queue and track its progress.
On a remote video, click Download and then select the proposed resolution. VidArch adds the task to the queue.
Queue Statuses
- pending;
- downloading;
- completed;
- error with an actionable message.
The Downloads page displays the progress and available actions. Updates arrive in real time from the API.
In Case of Error
Restart the task after reading its message. A 403 response from YouTube may require updating yt-dlp or YouTube cookies. A disk error requires freeing up space before retrying.
Do not abruptly shut down the storage during a write operation. The persistent queue allows VidArch to restore its state after a normal restart.
