Quality and Downloads
Choose the default resolution and queue concurrency.
In Settings → General & Quality, select a default resolution: 720p, 1080p, 1440p, or 2160p.
VidArch requests the best compatible format up to this limit from yt-dlp. The actual quality obtained depends on the formats offered by the video, the available codecs, and the host's capabilities.
Simultaneous Downloads
The queue accepts 1 to 4 concurrent downloads. A higher value reduces wait time but increases CPU load, network bandwidth, and disk writes.
For a small server, start with 1. Increase gradually after monitoring memory, storage, and YouTube errors.
The destination directory displayed on the page corresponds to DOWNLOADS_DIR.
