Using VidArch
Downloads
Add a video to the queue and track its progress.
On a remote video, click Download and then select the proposed resolution. VidArch adds the task to the queue.
Queue States
- pending;
- downloading;
- completed;
- error with an actionable message.
The Downloads page displays progress and available actions. Updates arrive in real time from the API.
In Case of Error
Retry the task after reading its message. A 403 response from YouTube may require updating yt-dlp or providing YouTube cookies. A disk error requires freeing up space before retrying.
Do not abruptly terminate storage during a write operation. The persistent queue allows VidArch to restore its state after a normal restart.
