First startup
Verify the instance and perform the initial configuration.
1. Open the interface
Go to http://127.0.0.1:2499. If a password is configured, the login screen should appear.
2. Check the system
In Settings → System & yt-dlp, verify that yt-dlp is detected. In Storage & files, ensure that the available volume matches the selected disk.
3. Select the settings
- Language and local mode;
- Default download quality;
- Number of concurrent downloads;
- Automatic scanner;
- Access password.
4. Test with authorized content
Search for a free video or one of your own videos, start a download, and then verify playback from the library.
The GET /api/health health check also allows you to confirm that the API is responding.
